Grand Island String Orchestra and Symphonic Orchestra

The String Orchestra is a group of 9-12 graders. The orchestra meets daily with students receiving weekly lessons. The orchestra is comprised of strings (violin, cello, bass, and harp) and the piano. This ensemble focuses on string techniques, knowledge of a broad representation of different string and orchestral repertoires, a well as the promotion of lifelong learning attitudes about all music.
